What is Wedding Day Creches?

Wedding Day Creches provides professional, on-site childcare for weddings and special events. We create a safe, fun, and engaging space so children are happy and parents can relax and fully enjoy the celebration.

Where do you set up the creche?

We can set up our creche in a designated room at your wedding venue, a nearby space, or sometimes even within a marquee. We work closely with the venue to ensure the area is safe, suitable, and comfortable for children of all ages.

What ages do you cater for?

We typically care for children from 6 months to 12 years old. Activities and supervision are tailored to suit different age groups, ensuring everyone is entertained and well cared for.

Are your staff qualified and insured?

Yes. All of our childcare professionals are fully vetted, experienced, and hold relevant childcare qualifications. They are DBS checked (or local equivalent) and we carry full public liability and childcare insurance.

How many children can you look after?

This depends on the ages of the children attending and the number of staff required to meet legal and safety ratios. Once we know your guest list, we'll advise on the best setup for your day.

What activities do you provide?

We bring a wide range of age-appropriate activities, which may include:

• Movie and wind-down time in the evening

We can also tailor activities to suit your wedding theme.

Can children be cared for during the ceremony and reception?

Absolutely. We can provide childcare during the ceremony, drinks reception, wedding breakfast, evening reception, or all day — whatever works best for you and your guests.

Will children be fed during the event?

We can assist with mealtimes and snacks provided by parents or the venue. If you'd like us to organise children's food, please let us know and we'll discuss options with you.

How far in advance should we book?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for peak wedding season. Popular dates can fill up quickly, sometimes 6-12 months in advance.

Do you offer a bespoke service?

Yes. Every wedding is different, and we’re happy to tailor our service to your needs — from quiet spaces for babies to activity-packed evenings for older children.

Is Wedding Day Creches suitable for destination or outdoor weddings?

Yes. We regularly work at outdoor venues, marquees, and destination weddings (location dependent). Just let us know your plans and we'll advise on logistics.
